Hello my lovely loyal lacertilian watchers! Just putting up a journal to inform you that my 11-year old self has finally lost the battle, as my older(and only slightly more mature) self can no longer stand the name 'sugartigar', that seemed so brilliant only 7 years ago (I've been legit using it for everything since I was 11...). But srsly guys, the name makes me feel ridiculous...

I'll be leaving my sugartigar account up for those that still want to view my old stuff (I think there's a few decent things among that pile of cowpies), however don't expect a reply if you post a comment or send me a message, as it's doubtful that I'll be logging in to this account regularly, if at all.

Cycling in Holland!

Gotta clear out that that dusty old journal. Problem is I never seem to have anything to write in journals. I guess I'm just not an interesting person.
I won't be around for a few weeks(not that I'm that active anyways) because I'm going on a two week cycle tour in Holland! I leave tomorrow morning. Loooong plane rides and jet lag, woot!
E3 got me super excited about a bunch of games. Legend of Zelda: Skyward sword, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Assassin's Creed: Revelation and espceially Mass Effect 3! The thing I hate about E3 though i that they talk about all of these awesome upcoming games and then you have to waiiiit for them. Blargh. I was going to buy myself Mass Effect 3 for christmas, but that's slightly problematic now that it's being released in march. I feel less guilty about spending 60$ on a game if I can justify buying it to myself
And yeah, that's about it.

Wow, I haven't written a journal since September when school started. I suppose I should give y'all some updates.
As far as art goes, school has been seriously cutting in to my art time. It's crunch time for 2nd year IB Diploma students, and I'm working my ass off right now to get everything handed in(for those of you who don't know IB is an internationally accredited and academically intensive program that students usually take over the course of their final two high school years). But exams are in May and after that I'll be done high school, meaning more art time! After that I'm hoping to get in to the BIT program at Carleton university in Ottawa: bitdegree.ca/ .
Even with being so busy I have been working on some stuff, so hopefully I'll have something to show you guys soon. I've been learning some flash and atm I'm working on a character maker thing. I've also been learning 3D stuff with Maya, so I should eventually have something to show for that too.

Apparently I'm really lazy about updating journals, because as a friend so kindly pointed out, I haven't updated my journal since June.
So, how bout a tag!

On another note, school starts again tommorrow. Bleh. Actually, it's terrible too, because I had some art homework over the summer, and my last project is just not working out at all. It's setback after setback, and the damn thing keeps falling apart. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that my art teacher will be understanding and give me a week to completely redo my project, because at this point I think it's beyond salvation.
And maybe at some point I'll get around to actually posting some art. I'm actually working on a top secret project of awesomeness right now. It's actually fanart, but it's going to be soo epic. And then there will be another artwork of uber-coolness, which was actually inspired by one of VioletzeEcoFreak's comments. Hehe, yeah, I'll keep you guessing on that one.
